Logo Submissions

Here we go, this is my first trial. Logos take between 2-5 hours to really make so I'm not too sure how many I can pump out for Monday.




Description:

I left the thought pattern of all these voices in my head saying "Eagles...no! Guards!....no! Nature!...no! Globes!" and just kinda went with what I really felt should be in the logo. With this one, I decided to stick with more of the foundation of this project; The connection between OCAD and Ryerson in some virtual sense. The build represents the physical buildings of OCAD and Ryerson. The computer chip on top of the building suggests the mediums we're using - computers and networking. So essentially, we're combining Ryerson and OCAD together, much like the logo represents.

It can be fine tweaked and such of course.

Here's another set of some logos. Different, not as much graphical elements to them. I think I've been staring at this stuff so long I can't really tell if I like it anymore...haha.

thank you so much Geoff for taking the time. All of the ideas are an amazing start to something that will turn out excellently.
I like the first graphics on the right hand side, however in all of these cases I was kinda hoping for more colour - like a punch - like the website with green.
I also have an attraction to the "im" in the crown - I like the idea of playing with that cut out very much... but I'm not sure the crown is my favourite....
just because of the lack of colour - maybe we don't want colour and I'm gonna be by myself in this.
The ideas of a fifties type wing too is good - it reflects the website design too.
hmm...could we maybe make the crown out of computer parts, or make it a crown of olive leaves to tie in the nature aspect - no, maybe I don't like that Idea.
(I feel like I'm thinking outloud).

Geoff they look really good. I know you spent a long time on them so thank you again, it gets the ball rolling for sure.
