Identification Data Visualization Images for the Projects

For Citrus Support - Orange


For Luminexus - Purple


For Retro Perspective - Red


For Secrets - Navy


We asked the groups to come back with a colour that represented them. These were the ones who responded back. Thanks Geoff for teaching me how to do this! Your idea for this was great and I think it would be amazing to incorporate it in the show since it got such a great response!!

alright....so, if i can be nitpicky - we don't have to do this necessarily - just a thought.
I don't think the purple one really represents the project it represents...however I think that the purple one would represent the oranges - is there any way
to switch them?
the blue one i think is awesome and the red one works too.
but i don't know how to do them.
could you pass on the code to me? so I can try?

I think the purple one works because its like a reflection of itself (mirror) which is what the project is
the orange one is very curvy and has "circle like" shapes in it.

I think that people responded well to the data visualization and it would be a good way to incorporate it and also create our identification system

I'm a little confused, where would these images be used?

kathleen wanted a creative way to give a personal identifier for each project. maybe have it like geoff did with their title...but like people would see the image next to one piece and next to their other

oh, so are these for the map or will they be printed out and posted with the projects?

thats what i was thinking. giving a personal look to each project but have the idea of networking and connecting embedded in the image itself

I really like the idea and I also like the images. However, I'm a little worried how they would look small on a map. I think the detail would be lost and that's what's cool about it. I think we need to see them printed out small before we can make a decision on this.

could the ribbons be the same colour as the data visualization? I find it a little jarring.

Also could you post the end version of the poster? I'm just curious to see what it looks like.

so i worked my butt off and had to redo a couple but i finally made the backgrounds white for the ones that told me their colour. im going to send out a thing saying that i need their colour by tomorrow or im choosing it myself.
